Another Rainy Day

So today is one of those rainy gray days meant to be spent curled up with a good book; so I decided to paint the baseboards in my bedroom.  As you can see from the above, the room used to be pale yellow with the lovely brown trim they put every where in the house.  Now it's olive green with white trim.  I will post an after picture once the room is put back together.
I still, after almost 7 months, feel like a stranger in a strange land; not able to find common ground with too many people surprisingly.  The dog park is a godsend; Blue gets his exercise and there I do have common ground with the other owners.  The time spent there flies by and I have to say I've never been happier here than when I'm there amongst a whole pack of canines.
Finished the bookclub book and just now remembered that I have to send an e-mail giving my thoughts and impressions.  Loved it, by the way.  So now I'm continuing to read (re-read) the Game of Thrones series and just started Don't Let's Go To The Dogs Tonight by Alexandra Fuller.  Thank you Irene for that one.
